I run this website i.e. me, Alex, and so it seemed a bit wierd to have a self-glorifying biog on here (e.g. ‘I wanted to get some perspective on my life so I retreated to the bear infested woodland mountains and lived off dead goats where I recorded my amazing amazing masterpiece in a shed made of grass and now everyone loves me and I’m pretty keen on myself too…etc etc etc’). - 3 singles spending a total of 13 weeks on the Radio 2 playlist, sessions for Radio 2 , 6 Music, Radio 1, XFM, BBC Radio Scotland, a song played over the end credits of a Hollywood film and The Sunday Times’ “hottest download of the week”. Blah blah…
Phew, glad that’s over with. Now I have tried to do it again, I have made a new record called ‘Call Back’, released on 27 September 2010. The first single ‘Once more I’m put to the Test’ mixed by Jay Reynolds (Just Jack, Paloma Faith) is out on 20th September…
